Education and Training
Dr. Crandall graduated from the University of Utah in 1988 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He completed his Doctoral degree at the University of Utah in 2010. He has worked in various orthopedic settings over the past 31 years working with injuries to the spine, shoulder and knee. He has completed an orthopedic residency with the Kelsey Institute for Rehabilitation Studies in 1994 in Austin Texas. He became a board certified specialist in 1996 and re-certified again in 2006 and again in 2016. He is the co-owner and director of Hand & Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialists for the past 18 years. He has served the Utah Chapter as the legislative chair, continuing education chair and nominating chair. He is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Utah. He has served on the Utah State Licensure Board for physical therapy for the past 4 years.
He is married and has four children. He runs 20-25 miles a week and regularly practices yoga. He also enjoys skiing (snow and water), camping, golfing, and anything with his family.
